This Horizon Europe Cluster 4 topic funds up to two application pilots — one in mobility or automotive, one in another sector such as energy, health or manufacturing — built on the "3C" telco-edge-cloud infrastructure that has been under development since 2025. The scope requires quantum-threat-resistant security, mobility and continuity of service across different domains and clouds, and a data governance model compatible with the European data spaces and Gaia-X. SMEs and start-ups are expected to take part in building the ecosystem around the edge-cloud infrastructure. The budget is €19.0 million per project, with 2 projects expected, for €38 million in total. The expected outcome by project end is TRL 6 to 8.
